The worst times are upon you. Life is hard, work is tiring, and even eating seems like an insurmountable task. It seems as if the world is against you. Though you refuse to acknowledge it, burning your bridge with the person who betrayed you has affected you more than you think. Define an area as 'safe' and use it as an anchor.

I'm thinking that...

It's natural for people to prioritize themselves. I need to the same. It's only logical. I'm surrounded by selfish people who don't care about me outside of what I can offer them.

Why should I consider listening to people who don't trust me or know less than I do? I was- and am right. People always want to dictate how I feel by giving me unsolicited advice.

My conviction and decisive judgment has led me this far in life. There's no way that I could have made a mistake and still be so successful. It's not to be boastful, because managing life and relationships aren't as hard as people make them out to be.

Our future decisions are easily affected by our emotions regarding past investments, especially when it comes to financial decisions. A sunk cost, or retrospective cost, cannot be recovered. So, in a sense, don't let your past regrets keep you on the path you are going, unless you truly believe that path is best for you.
